Since varicose veins are primarily to be understood as a flow defect in the leg veins, constant blood flow in the wrong direction causes a constant expansion of the small veins. However, since every flow defect also started once, it is only necessary to return to this origin, preferably by taking action right at the beginning. This resulted in a new approach to treatment.
